What is Plum Flower – Great Invigorator Teapills (Shen Tong Zhu Yu Wan):

Plum Flower – Great Invigorator Teapills (Shen Tong Zhu Yu Wan) is a Chinese Medicine formula that is indicated for use when Qi and Blood stagnation in the channels and collaterals results in wind-cold-damp bi pain (painful obstruction syndrome). This formula works best for fixed, chronic deep pain (potentially with numbness and tingling) in the limbs, and will effectively address pain throughout the body as well (anywhere in the joints or muscles, including shoulders and neck, arms, hands and fingers, lower back, and knees). With wind-cold-damp bi pain, the afflicted area will be relatively cool to the touch, hurt worse with pressure, and the pain will tend to be worse at night.

Shen Tong Zhu Yu Wan also addresses gynecological disorders that have Qi and Blood stagnation at the root, including irregular menstruation, painful menses, postpartum pain (in the lower abdomen), and retention of the placenta.
