      Typically, you will want to take this at full dose over a period of 6-8 weeks. You may see changes sooner than that, but it could take that full amount of time for the herbs to build up in your system and bring your body back into balance. If, after 6-8 weeks you are seeing no change, then you will likely need to either add an additional formula or change it up entirely. What is Ba Zheng Tang (Dianthus Formula)?

Ba Zheng Tang (Dianthus Formula) is a Chinese Herbal Medicine formula fantastic for urinary tract infections (UTI’s). Often just 2-3 doses are enough to take care of one, with the following symptoms:

  • Urgent, frequent, burning urination
  • Heavy feeling in the lower abdomen
  • Very little urine that’s dark yellow

If you’re prone to getting UTI’s, keep a bottle of Ba Zheng Tang on hand and take a dose as soon as you feel the symptoms coming on.

This formula is useful in acute prostatitis with the above symptoms as well.

Ba Zheng Tang (Dianthus Formula) is a TCM herbal blend that can be very helpful with urinary tract problems and cystitis in dogs, cats, and horses.

Herbal Ingredients found in Ba Zheng Tang (Dianthus Formula)

Filtered water, ethyl alcohol (20%) and a blend of the following dry herbs decocted at a 1:1 ratio (gm herb to ml menstruum):

** 20 drops = 1/4 tspn. (1.25 ml) & contains extractives of 1250 mg of plant material.

Dosage Instructions for Ba Zheng Tang

Shake Well before each use.

Maintenance Serving: Dissolve 1-2 droppers (1/2 tsp.) in warm water or juice 2-3 times daily.

Augmented Serving: Take 1 full tsp. 2 to 3 times daily in warm water or juice or as directed by a qualified herbalist familiar with the use of Chinese herbs and formulas.

To evaporate alcohol place in hot water.

Contraindicated during pregnancy.
