Tian Ma, or Gastrodia Rhizome extinguishes Liver wind to stop spasms and tremors and is indicated for use with Liver wind patterns with an underlying deficiency such as:

  • tremors, spasms, tonic-clonic convulsions (grand mal seizures), opisthotonos (muscle spasms causing backward arching of the head, neck, and spine), infantile and childhood seizures, and epilepsy.

Tian Ma is also considered an essential herb in Chinese Medicine for treating hypertension.

Herbal Ingredients in Tian Ma (Gastrodia Rhizome) – Liquid Tincture:

Dosage Instructions for Tian Ma (Gastrodia Rhizome) Liquid Tincture:

  • Shake Well before each use.
  • Maintenance Serving: Dissolve 1-2 droppers (1/2 tsp.) in warm water or juice 2-3 times daily.
  • Augmented Serving: Take 1 full tsp. 2 to 3 times daily in warm water or juice or as directed by a qualified herbalist familiar with the use of Chinese herbs and formulas.
  • To evaporate alcohol place in hot water.
