Axe Brand Medicated Oil:
The story of Axe Brand Medicated Oil datse back to the 1920s when a person named Leung Yun Chee journeyed from China to Singapore where he met a German physician (Schmeidler) who shared a unique formula with him. Leung Yun Chee then introduced this formula to China, leading to the creation of Axe Brand Pain Relieving Oil in 1928. Since then, it has become an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine in a variety of ways:
- For muscle and joint pain, sprains, strains, and bruises, and insect bites: Apply a few drops to the affected area and massage gently. Do not, however, use if there is an open wound.
- Stuffy nose & congestion, headaches, and dizziness: Apply 2-3 drops to a handkerchief or tissue paper and inhale deeply. Avoid contact with mucous membranes and DO NOT INGEST
- Discomfort from minor stomach pain: Apply the oil to the navel region and cover with a hot towel. Repeat the hot towel application whenever necessary.

Dosage Instructions
Suggested usage for Axe Brand Medicated Oil:
Adults and children three years of age and older: Apply a few drops to the affected area, then gently rub in. Do not use it more than 3-4 times daily. Discontinue use if redness or irritation develops.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY
Do not use on wounds, on irritated or damaged skin, directly on the face, or other than “as directed”. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes and do not bandage the area tightly after applying the oil.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
- Condition worsens.
- Symptoms persist for more than 7 days.
- Symptoms clear up but return within a few days.
- Excessive skin irritation develops.
- Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, or skin rash occurs.
When using for arthritis pain, stop use and ask a doctor if pain persists for more than 10 days, if redness is present, and in conditions affecting children under the age of 12.
Keep out of reach of children to avoid accidental poisoning. If swallowed, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
