Plum Flower – Clean Air Teapills – Qing Qi Hua Tan Wan
Clean Air Teapills, or Qing Qi Hua Tan Wan is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula recommended for those with sinus congestion and cough (acute or chronic) when there is yellow, thick, sticky phlegm present. Coughs tending toward “barking” or “rattling” characteristics indicate the proper use of this formula.
This formula is not for use with dry coughs.
Clean Air may be used for the following:
- Sinus congestion
- Cough with thick, sticky or difficult to expel phlegm
- Chronic asthma and emphysema w/phlegm-heat (i.e. yellow and/or sticky discharge).
I’m a big skeptic about supplimental and herbal remedies. I have always relied on western medicine and pharmaceuticals. After covid my lungs were always congested and I had long coughing attacks trying to clear them. Long covid they call it. The decongestant syrups worked some but I had to take it four times a day, and still had coughing attacks. My mother had some of the clear air tea pills and asked me to try them. I took them for several days and was very surprised that my lungs started clearing of phlegm and I coughed way less. I ordered two bottles of clear air tea pills and just finished taking them all. Now I only have a slight cough on occasion and breathe much better with al.ost no congestion. I am going to wait a couple of weeks to see if the effect is permanent. Thanks for the super product!
