What is Clear Wind Heat Teapills – Sang Ju Yin Wan:

Plum Flower – Clear Wind Heat Teapills is a classical Chinese Medicine formula that “releases the exterior” in cases of wind-heat invasion (similar in effects to Yin Qiao). Clear Wind-Heat Teapills is most effective when used at the first signs of cold or flu when dry cough is the most prominent symptom that needs to be addressed. Other symptoms pointing to its appropriate use include:

  • red and itchy eyes
  • dry, sore throat
  • swollen glands
  • fever
  • increased thirst
  • body aches

Clinical notes: TCM functions of San Ju Yin Wan are: (1) release wind-heat from the exterior; (2) descend and disperse Lung qi; and (3) restore downward flow of rebellious Lung qi.

Herbal Ingredients found in Sang Ju Yin Wan

Dosage Instructions: 8 pills/3x per day (or as directed by your healthcare practitioner).
