Herbal Ingredients:

  • Candied Licorice (Honey Fried Licorice- Zhi gan cao)

Suggested Usage for Candied Licorice (Honey Fried Licorice):

Simmer the Honey-fried licorice root in water for at least 30 minutes (3 – 10 grams is the range of dosage, not to exceed 30g). Do not let the water achieve a rolling boil as this will break down the volatile oils you are trying to extract from the root tissue. You can also grind the root into powder and consume it that way.

Licorice root can exacerbate high blood pressure so monitor your blood pressure periodically if you are ingesting this herb regularly.
