What is Huang Teng?:

The Chinese Herb Huang Teng is the dried caulis of the fibraurea (Fibraurea recisa Pierre) plant. Native to parts of Yunnan and Guangdong provinces, it has large, woody vines (up to 10 m or longer) and brown stems made of bright yellow wood that are harvested in autumn, sliced, and dried for use as medicine.
