Plum Flower – Cool Bones Teapills (Qing Gu Wan) is is a classical Chinese Medicine formula that addresses an often painful condition known in Chinese Medicine as “steaming bones” (steaming bones is a sensation of heat in the bones where the skin is normal temperature when palpated). This condition is a manifestation of Liver and Kidney yin deficiency (i.e. deficiency heat) and will often present with other such symptoms as tidal fever, severe night sweats, 5-center heat (sensation of heat in the palms, soles, and chest), thirst, irritability, and insomnia.
