What is Plum Flower – Qi Guan Yan Pills:

Plum Flower – Qi Guan Yan Pills is a Chinese Medicine formula appropriate for rattle-like coughs with labored breathing, for example with such clinical presentations as acute and chronic bronchitis, emphysema, smoker’s cough, and asthma. Its application can be extended to other chronic respiratory conditions characterized by the accumulation of “loose” phlegm that are aggravated by qi deficiency (e.g. in the elderly of those recovering from a long illness).
