What is Plum Flower – Qing Wei Teapills?

Plum Flower – Qing Wei Teapills, or Clear the Stomach Pills is a classical Chinese Herbal Medicine formula (c. 1336) that has been used for centuries to treat Stomach fire, which is too much heat in the Stomach channel. Because the Stomach channel opens to the face, mouth, and gums, it follows that this condition will present w/acute on-set toothaches, spontaneous nosebleeds, and bleeding gums.

Other symptoms that also point to the appropriate use of this formula include temporal headache, ulcerations in and/or around the mouth, swelling and pain in the lips/tongue/gums. flushed cheeks, fever, constipation, and bad breath.
