What is Dang Gui Pian

Dang Gui Pian, manufactured by Lan Zhou Foci, is one of the most popular herbal supplements in China. It is specifically formulated to support blood health. It also is designed to support womens health, and can be useful to relieve you of stomach pain during menstruation. It is one of the most commonly used supplements for womens health.

Benefits

This product contains Dong-quai root, which belongs to the celery family. The root is often used in herbal medicine in Asia, and is also known as Chinese angelica. In herbal traditions, this root is thought to have several different actions. For example, the head of the root is thought to support healthy blood while the main part of the root is thought to be a tonic for the blood. Meanwhile, the end of the root is believed to help support the growth of new blood cells. Dong-quai root also is known to be useful for women after they give birth; for irregular menstrual bleeding; hypertension and cramps related to menstruation. Overall, this herb is believed to be excellent for the blood, which contributes to overall good health.

Chinese herbs work differently from Western drugs – they help clear the root of the problem. Often these herbs work better if taken for some time, depending on the severity and length of symptoms. Thus they help to resolve the underlying imbalance, rather than simply managing symptoms.
