Plum Flower – Margarite Acne Pills is a Chinese Herbal Medicine formula most appropriately indicated for those with acne marked by redness with hardened pimples/distinct hardening of the skin. Also helpful to address rosacea, skin rash, allergic hives, eczema, cysts, benign masses and lymphomas beneath the skin, or other skin conditions marked by redness.
Clinical notes: In TCM terms, this formula softens masses, clears heat, resolves toxins, cools the blood, and nourishes blood and yin. The kelp seaweed (Hai Dai) breaks up the masses, while the other herbs clear heat and cool the blood. Crushed pearl (Zhen Zu) is considered a beauty tonic for the skin. This formula is contraindicated for pregnancy; also, it contains heavy mineral substances so it can cause loose stools/diarrhea. Shen Qu (Massa Fermentata, or medicated leaven) is a good addition if there are problems cropping up with poor digestion/loose stools developing).
So far my daughters face is still breaking out but it’s working slowly.. I think she needs to be more consistent.. I am seeing improvement
Completely clear after about 3 weeks. Only other treatment that comes close is completely avoiding dairy. I upped the does to 3 times per day and it seemed to help
I have rosacea, I so far have used one bottle for it. I do find it calms down a bit of the redness. So I want to continue to use it for at least a couple of times.
