I take one to two droppers full for anxiety and 4-5 for sleep but the old formula with other herbs added was better

Suan Zao Ren (Ziziphus Seed)- Liquid Extract (Tincture):

This is a single herb extract from the Ziziphus Seed (called Suan zao ren in pinyin – not to be confused with the formula of the same pinyin name).

Suan zao ren is a nourishing herb (blood and yin) that is most commonly known from its use in the formula Suan Zao Ren Tang which is very popular for use with troubled, dream-disturbed sleep & insomnia. This herb is best utilized in people with signs of deficient heat– (for example night sweats, hot flashes, dry mouth & thirst (to name a few))– who are having trouble falling and/or staying asleep.

Herbal Ingredients in Suan Zao Ren (Ziziphus Seed)- Liquid Extract (Tincture):

Suan Zao Ren – Sour Jujube Seed – Semen Ziziphi Spinosae

Dosage Instructions for Suan Zao Ren (Ziziphus Seed)- Liquid Extract (Tincture):

Shake Well before each use.
Maintenance Serving: Dissolve 1-2 droppers (1/2 tsp.) in warm water or juice 2-3 times daily.
Augmented Serving: Take 1 full tsp. 2 to 3 times daily in warm water or juice or as directed by a qualified herbalist familiar with the use of Chinese herbs and formulas.
To evaporate alcohol place in hot water.

Amount: varies: 1 oz. = approximately 10 days supply at bottle dosage.
