What is Bai Zi Yang Xin Wan (Sedalyn Extract)?
Bai Zi Yang Xin Wan (aka Arborvitae Seed Pill to Nourish the Heart, or Sedalyn Extract) is a variation of the Chinese Herbal Medicine formula Emperor’s Teapills (Tian Wan Bu Xin Wan), which, according to TCM theory, addresses a disconnect between the Heart and Kidney organ systems.
Bai Zi Yang Xin Wan focuses on deficiency in the Heart, acting to moisten and nourish Heart blood. This action calms the shen to address such symptoms as: severe, continuous palpitations; forgetfulness; vivid uncomfortable dreaming; and nightsweats. This formula is also useful to address poor concentration, clouded mind, mental fatigue, and mild respiratory issues– specifically shortness of breath on the inhale.
Other more general signs of Kidney deficiency may also be present that point to the use of this formula, such as: low energy, chills, cold limbs, headache, dizziness, agitation, a pale, sallow complexion, and neurasthenia.
Chinese herbs work differently from Western drugs — they help clear the root of the problem. Often these herbs work better if taken for some time, depending on the severity and length of symptoms.
As a dietary supplement, take 8 Teapills 3 times a day with warm water.
