What is Chuan Xiong Cha Tiao – Expellin Extract:

Chuan Xiong Cha Tiao Wan (Expellin Extract; Ligusticum with Green Tea Mix Pill) is a traditional prescription for treating an acute onset case of cold or flu when the primary symptom is headache (occipital or temporal). Other symptoms addressed by this formula include: aching shoulders and neck, dizziness, stuffy nose, chills, and fever (known as wind invasion in TCM language). This formula is also popular in China as an all purpose headache remedy.

Dosage Instructions for Chuan Xiong Cha Tiao – Expellin Extract

As a dietary supplement, take 8 pills 3 times a day. Take with strong green or black tea to enhance the effect; then get under bed covers to induce sweating.
