A great health aide

I first bought this product to help with kidneys but now mainly use it for sore arthritic legs. It seems to help alleviate the pain. I will continue to use this product for a long time. Thank you!!

What is Plum Flower – Kang Gu Zeng Sheng Pian:

Plum Flower – Kang Gu Zeng Sheng Pian (tablets) is a modern Chinese Medicine herbal patent formula designed to address swollen, inflamed, painful joints with chronic dull aching pain, especially in the spinal vertebrae of the neck and back. Its clinical indications for use include vertebral calcification and degeneration from injury or aging and vertebral subluxations causing dull, aching pain and numbness. It is recommended to use this formula for at least three months to achieve desired effects for these types of applications.

This formula can also be helpful on a more “as needed” basis to alleviate lower back and neck pain and inflammation that gets worse: in the morning, when movement is initiated, or when the weather gets cold and damp. One note to mention is that in terms of TCM theory, this formula uses herbs that warm the Kidney. This has two implications: (1) it will work better when there are other signs of Kidney deficiency present, such as cold limbs, waking frequently to urinate at night, clear/turbid urine, fatigue etc…; and (2) because it is a warming formula and it is often intended to be taken over a long course of treatment, the person should be monitored periodically to see that a new imbalance is not being inadvertently created.
