Plum Flower – Stasis in the Lower Palace (Shao Fu Zhu Yu Wan) is a Chinese Herbal Medicine formula which invigorates blood circulation and warms the uterus. It is used when the accumulation of cold causes blood stagnation. This can lead to such presentations as:

menstrual cramps/post-partum cramping
small uterine fibroids & ovarian cysts
dysmenorrhea (with large clots and/or heavy bleeding)
other gynecological issues rooted in cold (blood) stagnation

This formula is PROHIBITED DURING PREGNANCY

When using for menstrual cramps, its use should be discontinued once the cramping ceases so as not to aggravate bleeding.
