Plum Flower – Resilient Warrior Teapills (Ren Shen Bai Du Wan) is a classical Chinese Medicine formula (c. early 12th century) originally created for children** catching what we now call a common cold or flu in the cold, damp climate of China (as the seasons changed). In modern times, it is indicated for use in the early stages of common cold and flu to address low fever with chills, headaches, sinus congestion, stiffness in the neck and shoulders, and bodyaches. It can also be used to vent measles in its early stages.

**In terms of proper dosage: the modern formula is calibrated for a 150lb adult (although it can be used w/reduced dosage levels in a pediatric context with proper consultation with a trained TCM practitioner).

Clinical notes: Its TCM actions are: dispel pathenogenic wind-cold-damp, release the exterior, tonify qi, and relieve pain.
