Plum Flower – Tian Qi Du Zhong Wan is a Chinese Medicine formula which acts to tonify and strengthen Kidney yang while simultaneously clearing out stagnation (wind-damp) from the channels and collaterals. It is indicated when there is chronic dull aching, stiffness and/or weakness in the lower back and knees that may be interspersed with occasional flare-ups of sharp pain associated with overwork and strain.  Secondary symptoms that point to the appropriate use of this formula include overall fatigue, pale/sallow complexion, cold limbs, a tendency to feel cold (or aversion to cold in the environment), and spider nevi.
