Plum Flower® Teapills & Tablets – by Mayway

Plum Flower Teapills & Tablets by Mayway

At Best Chinese Medicine, we provide a range of fantastic herbal supplements from a variety of trusted brands. The Mayway name has long been associated with quality traditional Chinese herbal formulas. We are excited to offer their many solutions for our modern lives with Plum Flower® Teapills and Tablets.

Why Mayway and the Plum Flower Line?

Mayway first created their Plum Flower® products as a way to provide high-quality, effective herbal supplements for American and European consumers. Understanding that those new to herbal medicine in the West may be cautious about trying foreign herbs, they knew that only the most advanced standards in quality would do for their new brand.

The current line of Plum Flower® products offers both traditional and modern adaptations of classic Chinese herbal formulas.

What is the Difference Between Teapills and Tablets in Chinese Herbal Medicine?

Chinese herbal medicine comes in a variety of forms: teas, powders, pills, extracts, and more. One of the most common and easy ways to take herbal medicine is in pill form. To make herbal pills, Chinese herbal formulas are ground up and pressed into either tablets or teapills. While a tablet looks much like the common vitamin, teapills are shaped like tiny balls. While both forms are effective, some people prefer to use teapills as they are easy to swallow.

The Plum Flower Line at Best Chinese Medicine

We carry many different products here at Best Chinese Medicines across a wide range of price points… you may recognize some of the boxes of teapills that we carry from the oriental market– colorful boxes with strange sounding English names on one side and Chinese writing on the other. These products are akin to over-the-counter medicines we buy here in the US.

But we also feel strongly that the general public should have access to the same quality formulas that clinicians use with their patients– this why we carry so many Plum Flower formulas. They carefully source their herbs, test them for heavy metals and other adulterants, and adhere strictly to other Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to bring the highest quality herbal formulas to the public.

We carry dozens of Mayway and Plum Flower® products to suit a wide range of health needs. Here are just a few of our best-selling and most famous formulas:

Curing Pills: Curing pills are famous for “curing” one pesky problem: acute digestive distress. These can be used to stop vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain caused by food poisoning, excessive eating, or even quell a hangover. Due to their quick-acting and powerful effects, curing pills are often recommended as a traveler’s best friend!

An Shen Bu Xin Wan: An Shen Bu Xin Wan is a formula dedicated to helping us get a good night’s sleep. This formula calms the mind and settles the body into a restful and restorative sleep.

Jiao Gu Lan: Plum Flower’s Jiao Gu Lan is a popular formula for longevity, brain health, immune support, and stress relief. This formula has been used to boost energy, relieve the effects of stress, aid in detoxification, and even prevent early aging.
