The Chinese Herb Bai Hua She She Cao is the dried aerial parts of a plant in the Rubiaceae (madder) family native to tropical and sub-tropical parts of China and Southeast Asia (Oldenlandia diffusa Willd. (also known as Hedyotis diffusa Willd.)).

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Therapeutic Actions of Bai Hua She She Cao:

Bai Hua She She Cao clears heat, eliminates toxins, and reduces abscesses and is used both internally and topically to address such clinical presentations as intestinal abscesses, infected skin sores/carbuncles, sore throat, and hepatitis.

Bai Hua She She Cao is used clinically in China to treat various iterations of cancer (in combination with other heat-toxin clearing, anti-neoplastic herbs such as Ban Zhi Lian).

Bai Hua She She Cao drain dampness and can be used to relieve painful, burning dysuria. It can also be directed to the Liver channel to address damp-heat jaundice.
