Best Chinese Medicines LLC, premier web shop for Chinese Herbal Medicine, is pleased to announce the completion of a full website renovation specifically to attain a high level of accessibility.

Remediation efforts over several months, in coordination with a full-site web architecture redesign, have produced laudable results in an effort to conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 AA*

Here are some highlights of work performed:

• ✓ Color Contrast – all text now 4.5:1 contrast ratio
• ✓ Alternative Text for images – explains images to vision impaired and to users of screen readers (assistive devices that read web pages out loud)
• ✓ Keyboard focus and navigation – to aid visitors unable to use a mouse
• ✓ Proper labeling of forms – giving screen reader users clarity and confidence 
• ✓ Structural elements refinement – keeping headers in logical order (h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6)
